Happy Monday! Celebrating Marvelous in My Monday thanks to Katie. This weekend has been a bit unexpected thanks to storm Nemo that brought us over 2 feet of snow. Fingers crossed it melts fast. I announced several times this weekend my dreams of moving to California by next winter. Anyone want to join me?!
Because my backyard looked like this…
…I spent a lot of time at home. I’m going a little crazy and ready to get out. I was however super productive and got lots of work done, fitness classes planned, and caught up on some random errands around the house. I am so ready to get back to a normal workout schedule today too. Saturday ended up being an at home WOD day and Sunday was my rest day. I did get plenty of shoveling workouts in!
Sophie on the other hand, loves the snow. I shoveled a path for her in our backyard…
But go figure, she climbed right over my path and into the snow piles. I’m not quite sure she’s my puppy…I’m just counting down the days until summer!
I finally got out yesterday and got much needed groceries to prep my meals for the week.
Here I have: Lots of baby spinach, Greek yogurt, ground turkey, Kind bars, bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, strawberries, unsweetened applesauce, eggs, oranges, lime, zucchini, crumbled goat cheese, dates, and unsweetened coconut.
All prepped and ready: Protein muffins for breakfast, spinach salad for lunches, and quinoa with veggies and turkey for dinners.
Onto some link love. Since I had plenty of time to catch up on reading this weekend here’s a whole bunch of my favorites from the past week:

Oh no?! Hmm not sure why that’s happening. Let’s start a countdown to summer! Please!

Thanks Nadja! I’ll be counting down to summer from now on!
I’m finished with the snow around here. Let’s move on to summer!
Love the list of recipe ideas (and thanks for including me). Have a marvelous Monday!!
Agreed! Happy Monday to you too!
Even thought we hardly ever get snow here, the times we’ve had it, Max absolutely loved it too! Glad you’ve been safe and warm and I hope for your sake you’re able to get out and about today. Thanks so much for the shout out and I can’t wait to check out all of these links!!
That’s funny! What’s with puppies and snow
Oh bless your heart! Sending lots of our sunshine your way! I wanted to tell you, I made your paleo meatballs this morning for dinner (of course I had to test one after they were done), and girl they are delicious!! Love them!!!
So happy you like them Jessie!
oooh there is nothing like finding surprise link love!!
thank you!!!
Of course! That post was one of my favorites!
Luckily we just got rain this weekend. I’m still in shock how much snow you all got!! Stay warm!!
Thanks Linz!
Yay for being super productive! Good for you girl! I thought Megan’s spaghetti squash casserole looked amazing!
It did look so great!
It is good to see that at least somebody (Sophie) is enjoying all of the snow!
Right?! If I don’t she might as well
aw sophie looks soo cute in the snow! Brady is loving it as well! We are still snowed in, apparently they don’t want to plow our apt parking lot
. Hoping to be able to venture out today! Thanks for the shout out
Oh no! Fingers crossed you get out today!
No snow here but it’s been cold and windy most days. I’m definitely looking forward to spring especially since I’m not a cold weather runner and am itching to get outdoors to run!
Totally agree! I cannot run in the cold! Especially now there’s nowhere to run
Love that article from MizFit. Instagram is full of snow pictures! I live in North Carolina on the coast so we never see snow. It’s so pretty!
It is pretty when it first snows but after that it gets old quick lol
Loved Miz’s article too!
I’m definitely down for moving to Cali! We don’t usually get hit by huge storms like that up here, but we get a LOT of snow over time, and the constant cold just makes it a lot harder to be all gung-ho about going outside. Summer still feels too far away – I’m counting down until Spring!
And thanks for the shout out, hun <3 <3
Let’s do it! My bags are packed
Holy snow!!! I can’t believe how much people got, while I got zip. Um ya, I’d love to move to Cali!! It’s like my dream, I just love love it there!
Let’s all go there together;)
Thank you for the love!! You are awesome, I love catching up on all these that I possibly missed!
Eee Sophie is too cute in the snow!
Let’s do it! I’m ready to go
I LOVE snow! I wish we had more snow in Chicago. 2 years ago the blizzard was so awesome, so much snow. I like it. I live downtown Chicago so whenever it snows, the snow disappears super quickly anyway, it sucks.
Hahaha that’s too funny! You can take all of ours
Aw, Sophie looks like a little snowflake in those piles of snow.
Talking of snow – I live in a country where we have snow since the beginning of November to the middle of April. So I get you well on this.
As for staying home – books for me. I can get lost in one for days
Happy Monday, Danielle!
Ugh I’m glad our snow doesn’t usually start in November! Too cold for me!
We got 25 cm of snow and today we are getting freezing rain with ice pellets!
Thanks for linking up darling!!!
Protein muffins…I love <3
Ugh no fun! I can’t wait for summer!
i always love your links, usually because i have read and agree with all them! Such talent and heart out there! <3
Thanks so much Lindsay! I totally agree. I’m always blown away by what everyone comes up with.
Hi beautiful!!
I feel your stuck at home pain, except I am stuck in due to being sick. I am going crazy over here, but have to do what is best for baby and I!
Hope your week is fabulous! xoxo <3
Aww hope you feel better Katie!
Please enjoy the snow for me! I miss that aspect of living in the northeast… one snowed in weekend can be fun.
Okay I guess I can enjoy one snowed in weekend for you
Umm yes I plan to leave New England perhaps by this coming fall. I will come with you. Sophie is such a cutie, be careful you will lose her amongst all the white!!
Let’s go Caitlin! Take me with you!
I’ll move to California with you!! I can’t stand the cold/snow either.
We got lots of snow this weekend too.
Thanks for the shout out love!
Let’s go!
I think you already know that I’d move to California with you in a heartbeat! Next winter, let’s beach it while everyone else freezes their bums off. Sound like a plan?
Your grocery load looks wonderful–especially those KIND sea salt + dark chocolate bars. I haven’t seen them for awhile…I’m beginning to feel deprived!
As always, thanks for the link love! I missed a lot of these posts, so I’m going to check a few of them out right now! Happy Monday, Danielle! <3 xoxo
Sounds like the perfect plan to me! Let’s do it! My bags are packed!
