Happy Monday! Celebrating Marvelous in My Monday thanks to Katie! Today I have Link Love to share, recipes from last week, groceries, and meal prep! I can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving week already too! In honor I’ll be sharing some Thanksgiving Link love too! First let’s check out my grocery haul…
The Groceries:
Gluten free wheat bread, plantain chips, roasted turkey breast, bell pepper, pears, mango, butternut squash, spinach, snap peas, apples, eggs, vegetable chips (vegetables, oil, salt, and that’s it!), water, peanut butter, unsweetened almond milk, potatoes, carrots, and almond meal.
Some finds:
Not a new find but wanted to share this. Trader Joe’s just almond meal is awesome and super cheap! It’s only 3.99 for the bag. I know a lot of people complain about almond flour being super expensive. This one is not!
Sorry for the gross meat picture but I wanted to show you the label. Grass fed, no antibiotics, no hormones and organic. Awesome quality and not super expensive. This is the first time I’ve seen these at Trader Joe’s and was impressed.
This is the best creation ever and I wish Trader Joe’s carried this year round. So easy to open the bag roast and have on hand for the week!

Aawww thank you for the shout out!! My plan this week is detoxing as you know
we do not celebrate Thanksgiving here, so it’s gonna be a ordinary easy weekend
Excellent! Have a great easy and relaxing week : )
This week is pretty low key which I’m excited about! Two days of work and then three days off! Woot woot!
Sounds like a perfect week to me
thanks for the shoutout girl!
Of course!
It’s just a boring old regular week for me since Canadian Thanksgiving was last month! I might cook up some Thanksgiving recipes this week just for the heck of it though haha.
I’m so jealous you can get almond flour so cheap at TJs! A bag that size costs me $10 here!!
Why not make some?! Nothing wrong with some extra turkey!
Thanks so much for the shout out, Danielle! You’ve got a great round-up of links. I can’t wait to check them all out. Your Trader Joe’s finds are some of my favorites. I always stock up on that almond meal. Happy Monday!
Me too! I got two bags this week while I was there!
Aww thanks so much for the shout out Danielle!! I have continued to read your blog despite my absence and this means a lot to me
Hi Danielle!
Thank you so much for including me! ps. We eat so similarly! How awesome is that beef?!
Of course Sarah!
COuld not agree more: TJ’s is the bomb for great, innovative, healthy food options! Thanks so much for the awesome recipes. I am newly gluten-free and finding my way.
Let me know if you need help with the gluten free!
They have chopped up butternut squash at my grocery store! I need to get some though! Your meal looks good that you were prepping for! (:
Thanks Danielle!
I just absolutely love how affordable most of Trader Joe’s products are. It sure makes eating healthy a lot more easy for me!
Me too! I’m always impressed by their prices and how little my groceries cost
I wish I had a Trader Joe’s near me so bad! I still can’t believe I’ve never been before. Need to check out some of those recipes I missed! I went to go buy figs to hopefully make your fig bars but couldn’t find any…sadness.
You would love Trader Joe’s! Next time you’re in the states you’ll have to go to one!
I need to find myself a bag of pre cut butternut squash hahaha I think that’s the one thing I don’t like about squash lol definitely hurts the hands lol
So true! It’s like a workout just trying to cut it!
Great recipes and link!
Chia pudding sounds yum!
Thanks Kierston!
I’ve never bought pre-cut butternut but I am so tempted. I hate peeling it so much… I normally just leave the skin on and eat it.
I’m so lazy but it is just so convenient! Makes meal prep so much easier!
So much delicious Thanksgiving themed eats…. Jealous! We had our Canadian Thanksgiving already, and being teased with all of the delicious eats around the blog world lately has been rough. I might just have to celebrate again
I think you should
The Trader Joe’s by me is always so crowded I never take the time to really look up and down the aisles at everything… and then I miss stuff like that almond meal! I really need to go at a weird hour so I can take my time!
I know mine is always so crowded too no matter what time of day!
Last week wasn’t the best in terms of workouts OR nutrition – but I’m on vacation this week, have 1 workout in already and had some organic tomato soup (I added yellow curry to it and chives) for lunch and some steak with brussel sprouts for breaky! So far so good!
How awesome! Nice work!
I love that prechopped bnut squash!! Makes things so much easier for me during the holidays!!
So true!
I love Trader Joes – I spend half the price there and get 3x as much as I would at whole foods!
Agreed! It’s awesome!
Love Trader Joe’s already cut up butternut squash. It makes cooking 10x easier. I used to buy bags of it at a time.
Not too much happening for the rest of the week. Just lots of relaxing, as usual. I’m thinking I’ll make some gingerbread cookies @ some point
Me too! I love when they have the sweet potato cut up too!
You eat so many veggies, I really need to step up my game. I used to eat more but lately I crave protein all the time. I know veggies need to make more of a priority though.
I have trouble with veggies too! I very rarely crave them I just know I should eat them! I always crave proteins and fats more.
I agree–TJ’s (and all grocery stores) should carry pre-cut butternut squash all year long! Occasionally I’ll buy the frozen variety, but the texture and flavor simply can’t be compared to the fresh!
Great lineup of recipes and links! I always love your MIMM posts because they lead me to so many other wonderful posts! And thank you so much for the shout-out! Happy Tuesday, Danielle! xoxo <3
Totally! I think we should petition for year round cubed butternut squash!
oh!!!! i need to find those burgers!! i LOVE tjs almond meal! i think its such a great price – especially for what it is! Can’t wait to see what you come up with with it!
Thanks Julie! It really is! I bought a bag at whole foods before for 10 dollars! Trader Joe’s definitely wins in the almond flour department!
