i love having an omelette at any time of the day!
I tried your baked apple recipe this morning (but changed some things because i’m trying to lower my peanut butter / almond butter consumption) and it was delish!!

As much as I LOVE my breakfasts, I never crave them for dinner. The only exception might be that once in a great while (usually because I have no other ideas), we will have eggs for dinner. An omelet or scramble. But that’s it. :)

It’s funny how everyone’s preferences are so different! Eggs for dinner are definitely my favorite too though!

Omelett or Smoothie! Easy, quick and delicious!

I LOVE eggs, but just found out I’m allergic. Wondering if the nutritionist in you has an recommendations?

Reply

danielle November 9, 2012 at 7:47 pm

Oh no! Hmm going to have to think on this one! Do you know if you’re allergic to the whites, yolks, or the whole egg?? You could make a tofu scramble instead of an egg scramble and definitely experiment with flax eggs in baking (mix 1 tbs. flax seeds with 3 tbs. water per egg).

Oh girl, I would have NO problem eating breakfast all day… In fact, sometimes I do when I’m feeling too lazy to make anything else :D I’d have to say that waffles with butter and syrup, and scrambled eggs are probably my favorite breakfast to have for dinner. But then again, there are those nights where nothing but a big bowl of cereal will do :D

Reply

danielle November 9, 2012 at 7:38 pm

I think we’re food twins! Sometimes all I want at night is a bowl of cereal for dinner ;)

What’s in your smoothie? Would love a new recipe:)
Also, love your cereal bowl, what kind of “milk” do you use?

Reply

danielle November 9, 2012 at 7:40 pm

I use unsweetened almond milk in my smoothies. Usually for smoothies I’ll do 1/2 cup-1 cup of almond milk, ice, handful of spinach, frozen cherries or berries, cinnamon and a scoop of protein. I like to keep them pretty simple!

Rachel B - Busy Mama November 9, 2012 at 5:56 pm

Well, it’s GOING to be chocolate peanut butter pancakes… ;) Holy crap, those sound amazing. I’m a huge breakfast smoothie fan – I’ll throw whatever fruits and veggies I have in the Ninja and blend them up with some egg protein and call it good!
